Kevin Barry Crystal

…was born out of the demise of the Stuart Crystal works which reduced its manufacturing capability in early 2002 leaving Kevin, who spent twenty years at the company as a master cutter, to look for a new way to earn his living.

Kevin chose the Glasshouse as the most suitable site for his new venture as a result of working with other former Stuart Crystal employees who moved to the site themselves and now has a thriving general glass business able to offer ‘almost anything to almost anyone’ though he still maintains his love for his specialisation, intaglio and sand engraving.

Kevin offers a full design service and undertakes bespoke commissions. Amongst his other fortes are diamond pen engraving and sandblasting. He produces corporate giftware and trophies and also supplies several other local glass companies with his skills. He is fully trained to ISO quality systems, enjoys putting on exhibition roadshows and crystal parties. You can even make your own glass at Kevin Barry Crystal.

Kevin Barry Crystal is open Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.00 and Saturday 9.00 to 4.00.
