Miranda Rota established ANELEMSI Glass Design following her return from living in Greece. She aims to create exclusive, hand-painted, kiln fired glass panels that are completely functional in the role they are designed for and a source of inspiration and joy each and every time they are seen.

Miranda creates original, hand-painted, kiln-fired glass panels and works of art for use in interior and exterior, doors and windows, partitions, lighting and accessories.

Increasingly the direction is towards architectural and contemporary work creating originals and producing designs to co-ordinate with existing patterns and décor.

Miranda currently has her studio on the site of the old Royal Doulton Crystal factory, which is now known as "The Glasshouse Project" and is a "village of glassworking studios." ( pictured below )

Miranda was born and brought up in Surrey, UK. She lived in Greece for 20 years where she was married and brought up a family. She established her own business creating handmade, profile, ceramic, glazed tiles for use in the kitchen, bathroom and exterior wall surfaces. At one time, Miranda's tiles fetched the highest price of any tile in Athens.

On her return to England in 1995, she turned her creative attention to glass. Her mission statement has remained unchanged.
