Work Experience
Walk around an RMET college: you'll find classrooms, workshops, small factories, market gardens, galleries and restaurants, but no clear distinctions between education, training and work. Instead, our unique partnership model offers a seamless transition from college to community.
In the second and third years, work experience placements are available with college-owned subsidiaries, with small businesses on the college campus, with college initiatives in the community, or with local employers, and can be combined with vocational courses either on campus or at local colleges.
This 'a la carte' approach gives us huge flexibility to build a third-year curriculum around each student's unique aspirations, abilities and support needs.
