Nailsworth Community Arts Programme
The
Nailsworth Community Arts Programme offers a range of artistic and
educational courses in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Small groups
of students are taught in classes which are provided by experienced
teachers at a number of different venues in Nailsworth, such as
Ruskin Mill, and at the Centre for Science and Art in Stroud.
This is truly a community venture being co-ordinated by volunteers
in order to support local people who teach privately.
The programme is varied and tutors offer clay, watercolour, print
making, drawing, painting, textiles, stained glass, mixed media,
performance, maths, choir, life, Taichiwigong, mask making, jewellery,
soap making, landscape painting, furniture painting and ceramics.
Founded in 2002, the programme is expanding and we hope to eventually
have a directory of all local classes.
Nailsworth Community Arts Programme is in partnership with: Ruskin
Mill, Nailsworth Festival, Nailsworth Primary School, Nailsworth
Recreation Centre and Woodchester Mansion and
classes take place in a range of local venues.
