Alec Hole: Ambient Glass

I am a contemporary stained glass artist with 15 years experience of stained glass of which I am very passionate.

Along with my business I also teach part time at Ruskin Mill.

My style has evolved over the years, being initially inspired by archetypal and mythological imagery, which I studied.

Currently I aspire to multi dimensional effects that will transform a space with window panels, lamps and mirrors.

Each project is a one off piece of art, designed in close collaboration with the client to create the effective remit in terms of design and colour.

I believe in using hand blown antique glass, which is unmatched in vibrancy and colour with high quality lead and materials.

Much of the work has been for domestic purposes, although I have had experience of ecclesiastical panels.

I can offer a free design and quote upon request and I am happy to visit prospective clients.

Alternatively please feel welcome to drop in to the workshop at Ruskin Mill or phone 07765 560958.
