The Framing Studio
Carolyn Galloway – Picture Framer

I have been framing for a few years now.
Originally I set up and ran the Old Teazle Gallery on the Avening Road then three years ago opened a business in one of the workshops at Ruskin Mill alongside other crafts people.
As a member of the Fine Arts Trade Guild great care is taken in producing a high standard of workmanship.
All sorts of items can be and are framed here Not only paintings and drawings but box frames are made to display treasured items ranging from military medals, dolls, christening gowns, sports shirts and equipment, musical instruments and children’s shoes and favourite hats, guns and knives, stamps, banknotes, and small sculptures – just about anything. We even framed a wedding bouquet once.
We also have original paintings and cards for sale and mirrors can be made to measure.
Our wood comes from sustainable forests wherever possible.
